I’m back + Intro to SJ’s Musings

Hey y’all!

I know it’s been a minute. It’s been an interesting and chaotic couple of months – personally and globally it feels like. I’ve been busy but I’ve also been taking it slow and getting much needed rest. With fall approaching, I’m getting back to the swing of things. And I’ve started grad school (woot woot!)! Yes, ya girl is going back to school for her master’s in social work! So as I go through the program, there will be content related to social work insights, so stay tuned for that!

I know I’ve mentioned in the past that posts would be approximately every two weeks. That will still be the case starting this fall. The summer months I had to take a hiatus but I’ll be back to bi-weekly publishing in the fall. In the meantime, check out my previous posts and let me know your thoughts. I’m learning this blogging thing as I go and so feedback and your insights are always welcomed :). I also have an IG page that you can follow to keep up to date on posts and such! Follow me @soulbirdjade.

Lastly, I wanted to share a new segment of the blog. It’s called SJ’s Musings, where I just share random or not so random thoughts, ideas, or feelings I have about anything, inspired from time in nature or in meditation. I’m a girl who likes to have her head in the clouds so random thoughts and feelings about life tend to occupy my mind. They’ll be shorter than my usually scheduled posts and will be posted in between my regularly scheduled posts. Feel free to engage and share your thoughts on these musings!

Aight, that’s all I got. Thanks for your support. See y’all soon, and happy reading!
