Did you know that there are 7 types of rest that we need to to be balanced? It's no wonder many of us are running on a rest deficit because physical rest can't solve it all! I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear this shirt from @mentalhealthvalue (which is one of my favs btw!) because I think people resonate with the message. When I wear this shirt, it's a reminder to myself and others that I don't have to be okay all the time.  Hey y'all! It's def been a minute! Between February to April, I took a leave at work to prioritize my well-being. It’s why I haven’t posted anything in a while. But it feels good to be back into the swing of things. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CaxtDHSFiCQ/ In honor of Valentine's day, I'm sharing this musing that's been on my mind for a minute. ❤❤❤ When I wrote my most recent blog post (link in bio), I was having a rough time. I was exhausted, stressed, anxious, and tired. Many people hoped that 2022 would be different but it just feels like a crappy start to the year. So it’s okay to admit that it’s not fine. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to yell and punch a wall (or a pillow because that can hurt lol). Sometimes we feel like shit and that’s okay.
