Thanks to @tasha_tash23 for sharing her reflection on a recent Soulbirdjade post! As Esther Perel, relationship expert and therapists says, “the quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.” Inspired by Valentine’s day, this post is about a love story that we don’t always speak of with reverence: friendships. Can't believe we are already hitting the end of January! As the new year dust disappears, I'm holding on to some mantras to be my guiding star in 2023. One of them is to "do it scared" Some gentle reminders... Some gentle reminders for this season ❤ The sludge phase has taught me and continues to teach me these things. Being strong isn't about keeping things in, running myself ragged, and denying myself the things I need. Saw this on someone's story and it just resonated with me so much. As a creative, it's sometimes hard not to beat yourself up when you don't produce in the timeline in your head. I love it when friends share their reflections after reading my blog posts! Sometimes it's a "I feel this way too". And sometimes, it's a "Yes, and..." which provides some added richness to the themes I've explored in my posts. So honored to share my story about my experience with @hikeandheal and learning to rest through nature and community.
